Creating offers that start with you (NOT just what sells)

doing business your way

Let’s flip the script on traditional offer creation.

Instead of starting with "what would people pay for?", what if we begin with you?

Your energy. Your desires. Your values. Your unique way of being. And the life you're actually living.

Because when your offer is aligned with who you are and how you want to feel, it's not only more sustainable - it’s magnetic.

Step 1: What do you want? (Yes, you).

Not what you "should" offer. Not what the algorithm favours. What do you genuinely want to create?

Try journaling on this:

  • What kind of work do I want more of?
  • How do I want to feel while delivering this?
  • What would make this offer fun, easeful, or energizing?

Let yourself want what you want. That clarity is a compass.

Step 2: What aligns with your life & capacity?

Even the best ideas fall flat if they burn you out. So let’s make sure your offer fits the life you’re actually living right now.

Ask yourself:

  • How much time and energy do I truly have?
  • What kind of boundaries or structure do I need?
  • Do I want this to be a one-off, seasonal, or ongoing thing?

Design your offer to support your energy, not drain it.

Step 3: Your way of working = your offer's superpower

Your unique strengths, quirks, and preferred ways of connecting are part of what makes your offer special.

Consider:

  • Do I love deep 1:1 conversations, group energy, or self-paced creations?
  • What formats feel most natural or nourishing to me?
  • How do people get the best of me?

You don’t have to mimic anyone else. When your offer feels like an extension of your natural way of showing up, it clicks.

Step 4: What’s the transformation?

Now we zoom out. What change will someone experience through this offer? Think tangible results and emotional shifts.

Ask:

  • What problem am I helping solve?
  • What will they walk away knowing, feeling, or doing differently?
  • How will this make their life better?

Name it clearly. This is what your people are really buying.

Step 5: Light-touch market research

You don’t need a survey of 500 people. Just a few real conversations can go a long way.

Try:

  • Talking to past or current clients about their needs
  • Posting questions or polls to your community
  • Noticing the language people use when they ask for help

Let their words guide how you talk about your offer, so they instantly recognize themselves in it.

Step 6: Test it (Without Overthinking)

You don’t need a fancy sales page. Try a low-pressure test.

Ideas:

  • Invite a few folks to a beta version
  • Share your offer in a story or email
  • Offer it directly to a small group you trust

This is where you learn what clicks - and what to adjust.

Step 7: Name the offer and share it gently

Once the shape feels right, give it a name, describe the transformation, and share from the heart.

You don’t have to launch. You can simply offer.

Your offer can be a living thing

It can evolve. You can tweak it. You can change your mind. The point is to start where you are.

Let it be imperfect and real, rather than polished and exhausting.

Final reminder

You don’t need to squeeze yourself into someone else’s strategy.

The right offer is one that feels aligned, energizing, and true to who you are right now - and it speaks to a transformation that matters.

Start there. Stay curious. Let it grow with you.

You've got this. ✨
